Thank you for visiting Virtuosa Tattoo! My name is Sophia I am the artist and owner at Virtuosa Tattoo. Art has always played a large role in my life. Fresh out of high school I apprenticed for a small shop in San Jose, & took art courses in college this is when my love for the art of tattoo was born. The smell of the shop the sound of the machines, learning the ropes, & seeing the artists use their talent on flesh was exhilarating to me. After finding out I was expecting my son I embraced my role as a mother & decided to shift my life in a different direction where I realized many of my artistic talents like crochet, drawing, refurbishing, painting, photography, & editing. I finally decided it was time to pursue my dream of tattooing. Tattooing is not only a passion for me being successful in this career means showing my kids that in the face of adversity if you work hard and diligently anything is possible. I take pride in maintaining a professional business conduct & strive to make my clients satisfied & happy with their body art.
